
Harvard Student Agencies Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Science Summer School
Program Outcomes
This program is designed for students who are interested in software, technology, and engineering. The courses are delivered by senior-level students studying at Harvard and provide a university-level academic foundation.
The Project-Based Learning system enables students to design their own intelligent systems. Final projects offer the opportunity to transform theoretical knowledge into practical application and to develop presentation skills. Participants prepare for university-level courses in artificial intelligence, building a strong foundation for future career paths in areas such as AI, data science, and engineering.
Provides a pre-university foundation in software and artificial intelligence.

Soham Gupta

Soham is an undergraduate student at Harvard University planning a joint concentration in Computer Science and Statistics. Of Indian origin, Soham grew up in the Chicago area.
During high school, he developed an interest in computer science and programming and continues to build personal projects in his free time. Among his projects are an AI-powered mobile application designed to improve basketball players’ shooting performance and a program aimed at predicting stock market movements.

Rachel Fields

Rachel is an undergraduate student at Harvard University planning to study Physics and Mathematics and to obtain a certification in Spanish.
For nearly four years, she has been teaching coding to students in her community using Python and Scratch. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a member of the club swim team, participates in Model Congress activities, and takes an active role in various STEM-focused student organizations.

Okan Karadağ

Okan Karadağ is an executive working in the field of information technology management in the banking sector. As the Head of IT Planning and Governance at Halkbank, he is responsible for the development of the institution’s IT strategy, the planning of technology investments, and the management of governance processes. He conducts work in areas such as the sustainability of corporate IT infrastructure, regulatory compliance, risk management, and the planning of digital transformation processes. He has experience in strategic technology management and organizational IT structuring.

Prof. Dr. Şirin Karadeniz

She has served as Rector at Bahçeşehir University and currently contributes to the academic and administrative development of higher education institutions as Rector’s Advisor at Doğuş University. With her experience in university leadership, curriculum development, and international projects, she conducts work focused on inclusive education and empowering the leaders of the future.
