Program Outcomes
The School of Finance not only teaches students the fundamentals of finance but also provides a strong foundation that prepares them for the dynamics of the global financial world. The program focuses on portfolio management and financial modeling, enabling students to become well equipped for the roles they may undertake in the finance sector in the future. Led by Harvard’s outstanding student instructors, this program brings together academic knowledge and real-world applications.

Emmalee Manigat, Harvard Üniversitesi’nde Müzik alanında lisans eğitimi alan üçüncü sınıf bir öğrencidir ve Ekonomi alanında yan dal yapmaktadır.
Aynı zamanda Berklee College of Music’te Müzik İşletmeciliği alanında yüksek lisans derecesi hedefleyen çift diploma programı öğrencisidir. Harvard LowKeys grubunun gururlu bir üyesi olan Manigat, geçmişte iş yöneticisi olarak görev yapmış ve hâlihazırda Derek Bok Center’da Lisans Pedagoji Asistanı olarak çalışmaktadır.

Turan Sert has been conducting research on blockchain-based decentralized technologies, known as Web3, since 2017 and shares his work across various platforms. Through his books “Blockchain in Questions,” “DeFi in Questions – Decentralized Finance,” and “Web3 in Questions,” he aims to introduce the fundamental concepts, financial applications, and infrastructure of blockchain technology to wider audiences. Sert began his career in auditing at Arthur Andersen and later worked in investment banking at Garanti Bank. He subsequently served as a management consultant at the Booz Allen New York office. After returning to Türkiye, he held board memberships and executive director positions within Fiba Group subsidiaries. Between 2014 and 2016, he served as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Özyeğin University. He currently continues to serve as a member of the advisory board of the BlockchainIST Center and holds advisory and board positions at various institutions. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University (1995) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2001).
